As you may already know, the beginning of July is a week of celebration & fun for us... at least that's how it *should* be! Crammed into those 7 days, we celebrate the birth of our nation, my husband, & our wedding. Needless to say, it's pretty exciting!! This year we went to Mobile to see Tim's family for the 4th. It was suppose to be a quick weekend visit... I'll get into that later. We arrived Friday in time to see the Mobile Bears play and, by chance, they happened to be playing the Jacksonville Suns!
Is there anything more American than baseball,
hot dogs (ahem... or my mother-in-law's incredible egg salad),
and fireworks on the 4th of July?

Tim manned the camera for most of the night
so I was able to enjoy a relaxed evening watching the game
(& there's actually pictures of me to prove it!)
I was quite impressed by the fireworks,
although we didn't get many pictures.
It was loads of fun!!
