Tim and I met my parents in Lake City last Sunday to pick up my brother. Josh is staying the week with us!! It was a last minute decision, but we wanted to fit it in before the end of his summer! It's been pretty rainy and overcast most of the week so far, but we've managed to stay busy around the house. In addition to Tim and I actually getting in full work days, we have also:
- Explored Callahan!!
(We found our closest Mexican restaurant~ it's been over a year since we've eaten good authentic Mexican food so close to home!! We also found our closest scrapbooking store!!! If you've never had the opportunity to experience a 'Midnight Crop'... then you MUST come visit!) - Played video games...including Josh's Guitar Hero II!
- Played Bocce Ball and Horseshoes in the backyard with our new set!!
- Watched a bunch of movies including: Ghostbusters, Pan's Labyrinth, Edward Scissorhands, Flatliners, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Muppets Take Manhattan, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Just like Heaven, and Hotel Rwanda (a MUST see).
- Went to see The Simpsons Movie in the theater.
