A whole weekend alone?

I have never lived alone. Ever.

As much as I like my quiet time, the novelty of completely and solely "alone" wears off quickly for me. I find myself talking to...myself, the cats, the TV...you name it. That's why I was very HAPPY that my mom decided to stop in this weekend. We weren't able to get any pictures of the events, but we had a GREAT weekend!

Highlights:

• Enjoying a whole weekend WITHOUT COOKING ANYTHING!!
• Watching (...a couple...) feel good movies.
• Having company while running errands.
  
• Picking up some new plants including a big, flowering butterfly-friendly one and several Rhoeo (aka Moses in a Cradle) to border the flower bed out back.
  
• Actually planting the plants the same weekend they were purchased!! AND as a *bonus* we even got some others replanted. They were badly in need!
  
• *Finally* following up on my cell phone replacement... the battery drains if I even look at it.
  
• Checking out some of the new houses around the neighborhood.
  

Lowlights:

• The smoke from the GA wildfires IS BACK!!!! I think they need all the help they can get, anyone for a rain dance?!?
