I walked into my classroom Monday morning to find beautiful, spotlessly clean, shiny floors :)
"Yay, they finally waxed!" I thought as took a few more steps.
Then I saw it - everything from the kneecaps up was a wreck!
Piles on top of piles... on my desk, on my guided reading table, basically on every flat surface in the room. Books, baskets of papers, chairs, bins all stacked up precariously. Desks strewn all over the room. They had to move everything.
Keep in mind my last day before Spring Break was a planning day. I always have my grades done before the planning day so I can use it to organize the room.
I spent Monday morning reorganizing the room
After a few deep breathes, the rest of the day went much more smoothly!
